Triptychs
Powers is a founding member of Triptychs, an electroacoustic duo formed with fellow bassist John Whitefoot in 2014. The project explores the sonic possibilities of the mundane and oft-overlooked via the digital and analog manipulation of acoustic sounds into long-form ambient compositions.
Shearwater
Since 2015, Powers has toured as the bass guitarist in Shearwater, an indie rock band based out of Austin, TX, performing on multiple tours throughout Europe and North America.
